GROWING CONDITIONS and LANDSCAPING USES
Like all Arbutus, A. x andrachnoides prefersa humus rich but well drained soil. Again slow growing but a very attractive and durable tree once established with most attractive bark (picture below). Lovely white 'lily of the valley' like flowers in spring are ana added attraction.
