Photinia red robin

An excellent hedging plant Photinia x fraseri 'Red Robin' is an evergreen shub that will reach around 3m but is easily pruned to size. Valued for it's dense glossy green foliage and br illiant red new growth this is a fast growing hedging plant that grows well in full sun. White flowers from spring to summer are an adde attraction, although for more formal hedges these are often pruned away.

Suited to a formal hedge 'Red Robin' can also be used as a large filler at the rear of the border or in a difficult corner of the garden.
For a dense hedge plant at 60 -90 cm apart. We suggest digging in some well rotted compost and manure before planting. Mulch well to provide a cool root run.
