Pittosporum tobira is the botanical name for what we know as Japanese Mock Orange. Cultivars include names such as 'turners variegated dwarf', 'wheelers dwarf', 'miss muffet' , and 'creme de mint'. Also known as New Zealand Daphne.

Pittosporum tobira will reach 6m, has white orange scented flowers in spring and can easily be pruned back to form a low hedge. Many cultivars are lower growing than the species and make excellent garden and hedging plants.
