Pittosporum tenuifolium Silver Sheen is another very popular evergreen hedging plant with silver grey foliage. Will grow to 5m, however Pittosporum tenuifolium Silver Sheen is easily pruned to size of around 3m. Prefering a well drained soil in full sun to part shade.

When young Pittosporum Silver Sheen has a fairly upright habit tending to 'bush out' a little as it matures. With a good dense habot it does make an excellent screening plant. Fast growing ar a rate of around 1m a year and with attractive variageted foliage, Silver Sheen also makes a good lower growing hedge

Plant at 1m centres as a guide for the distance for a good dense taller hedge to 3m, as a lower growing hedge to around 1m plant at 70 - 80cm apart.
