Acer palmatum 'Dissectum Ina ba Shidare' is another outstanding small growing Japanese maple with deep purple foliage that fade to a red in autumn. The dissected foliage on this form gives it a graceful appearance and although it has a fairly upright habit the arching branches create a graceful habit on this small growing tree (to 2.5m).
